I have a Macbook 11.3 but I have no idea how the blu-ray player is connected. I have a Pioneer 50BDR-X05TS. I bought it when I was 8 years old and it was working all the time. Now, I don't know if it is compatible with the Catalina or the IOS update and MacBueR player. In the MacGo player I can only play one-way DVDs no BlueRay or BluRay discs.
Since 2004 Monterey's MacBluRayPlayer (OBD) is the only player to play 100% one--way HD-DVD and all BluRay codecs. Their player also works with Catalina, which makes theirs the only player that supports everything, including current BD-Live functions. Their free player is very basic and only plays 1-way DVDs. I have no idea which components, if any, are supported by the player.
Be consonant of at present developing technologies, the use of AVCHD cams each as digital cash cards attainable with continuous view demand a HD Video recording aptitude.
